Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu in opposition to each other. The films didn't do very well in cinemas. She had to drop out of a number of films she was already making in 2015 like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for larger projects. In two of her films, she acted that came out in quick succession, together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor for Prabhu's Thodari. The film's release was delayed in 2015 and is now expected to occur after September in 2020. It'll have an entirely different name Janakitho Nauu. In the year 2016, Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was cast as Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on January 17, 2017. She was in Tamil film Paambhu satai along with Telugu movie Nenu Local both in 2017.
