April Ross

April Ross has won more than one Olympic medal. She is one of the few women beach volleyball athletes who be able to do so. Alix klineman, who is competing for the first time at the Tokyo Olympics and will attempt to win her third gold medal. Ross's goal is to win her first Olympic gold medal. It may well be that this is her only opportunity, given that she is 39 years old. The athlete is optimistic she will be able to win top awards. Ross stated to NBC Boston that if they play their best, or play a great game, she believes the team can win a gold medal. "I'm planning to test to have a bit of luck." Ross is born in the year 1982. Costa Mesa California where she resided with her parents and sister. At Newport Harbor High School, she played in a variety of different sports. She was a basketball player and also ran track in addition to her volleyball skills in the indoors in her time as a college athlete. But she clearly was an edge over the other players when it came to the second sport. In her time at high school, she played middle blocker outside hitter and setter in the court for volleyball, according to her college bio. Thanks to her hard work she was awarded an 1999 Gatorade Champion of Champions Circle of Champions Player of the Year. Her skills in volleyball earned her an Orange County Athlete of the Awards in 2000. Although Ross Klineman and Ross are a couple from 2017 onward, the former was already an established player on the beach scene even before the pair formed. In reality, she was a winner of multiple major tournaments with two different partners, one of whom is an icon of volleyball. In the period 2007 to 2013 she teamed alongside Jennifer Kessy who more recently was Klineman's coach. Kessy was Ross's partner on the World Championships of 2009. They took home a Silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. Misty Maytreanor's legendary team and Kerri Jennings took home the gold. Ross Walsh was Walsh Jennings new partner after May-Treanor's resignation. Together, they won beach volleyball bronze for the Rio Olympics of 2016. Ross played for the Trojans of USC during her college days, years before becoming a professional. Her experience at USC was quite impressive. In her first year at the school, 2000 was when she won the Pac-10 and NCAA Freshman's of the Year awards and be an All-American. The Trojans made it to the Final Four. The Trojans were devastated by a personal tragedy during her second year, but she went on to be an All-American again. Over her final 2 years of participation in the Trojans program, she coached the Trojans to winning a national title every year. As an individual, she cemented her place as a legend when she won the Honda Sports Award for 2003-04. This prize was awarded to the best female college volleyball players in the nation. Ross majored in International Relations at USC. Margie Ross was not able to witness Ross achieve beach volleyball's top levels. Ross's mom died from breast carcinoma in 2001. Ross had just become an undergraduate student in the second year at USC. She is devoted to her late parent. Also, Margie is an ongoing source of inspiration to her on the beach and in the world of.
