Jillian Noel Hennely was born 25 November 1968. She is a talented Canadian actor and singer who has made a significant contribution to American TV. She was a star in American show Law & Order, where she portrayed prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh over six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her talent in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also created and directed these movies. Hennessy started her acting career alongside her sister, playing twin call girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. In 1990, she appeared in a short stint on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Her next move was to sci-fi, and portrayed the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The big break for her occurred later that year when she was a part of the cast of the acclaimed NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Parker won her 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
